How to locate a transaction without knowing the MID.
To find a transaction without knowing the MID, you will need to access My Virtual Reports (MVR). In UNO, select Web Links from the Main Menu, then select Virtual Reports. You will need the first and last four digits of the card number, the amount of the transaction, and the date of the transaction.
In MVR, go to Search, Credit Card, Transaction.
In the Cardnumber field, enter the first four digits of the card number, then input X in place of the middle digits, then input the last four digits of the card number. You will need 8 Xs for Visa/MC/Discover and 7 Xs for AMEX (ex. 4111XXXXXXXX1111). The Xs can be either upper or lower-case.
Enter the amount of the transaction in the Amount field. If you are searching for multiple transactions run on the same card, then leave the default value of '0.00' in the Amount field.
Enter the Start Date and End Date of the date range you wish to search, then click SEARCH. You will see a list of transactions run on cards with the first and last four digits you entered, and the merchant accounts on which the transactions were processed.
Please note, because the card numbers are truncated, it is entirely possible for your search to return results for two different cards that happen to have the same first and last four digits. For this reason, it is best to define your date range as narrowly as possible.
