INTERNAL: Process for Moneris US ACH Applications

Description

What is the process for Moneris US ACH applications?

Resolution

1)     Moneris sends the application to salesoperations@sage.com, including the VT ID if the merchant already has an existing credit card VT.

      a)     The applications are key-entered by the Sales Operations team.

      b)    The Sales Operations team selects the appropriate equipment based on the information provided on the application.

           i)      If ACH only, please select “Sage Virtual Terminal”

ii)     If ACH with existing Credit Card VT, please select “Sage VT ACH Moneris Add” and include the existing VT ID in the “General Comments” section.

2)     Underwriting reviews the application for approval or decline.

 a)     Approved applications:

           i)      Underwriting approves the application in UNO, which prompts an automated email notification to the contact listed under Moneris’ office ID 907917

ii)     If ACH only, the gateway loads and a welcome email is sent to the merchant. No further action needed.

iii)    If ACH with existing Credit Card VT, a new gateway loads but the merchant is not notified. The welcome email creates a Parature ticket for VT support with instructions to enable ACH on the existing Credit Card VT. VT support then enables ACH on the existing VT using the new app ID and notates both the gateway admin tool account and UNO. VT support will also close the associated Parature ticket on which Moneris is copied so that Moneris can inform the merchant that the ACH service has been added.

      b)    Pended applications:

           i)        Underwriting pends the application in UNO, which prompts an automated email notification to the contact listed under Moneris’ office ID 907917.

ii)       Moneris sends any additional information to new.applications@sage.com

iii)     Underwriting reviews the new information and restatuses the account (approved, pended, or declined).

      c)     Declined applications:

           i)      Underwriting declines the application in UNO, which prompts an automated email notification to the contact listed under Moneris’ office ID 907917.
